It was revealed today that a new exclusive book is set to be released at the end of April, and readers around the world are aflutter with anticipation.
The new book, titled “Portraits of Laughter: An Anthology of Humorists”, features over 130 unfiltered portraits of some of the most famous comedians in the world, including Steve Martin, Tina Fey, Eddie Murphy, Robin Williams, and Ricky Gervais.
Each photo in the book is printed on premium quality paper, with extra care taken to make sure each portrait looks perfect. Moreover, everyportrait is shot with a vintage aesthetic to reflect the timelessness of these icons’ work.
The book’s creator, photographer Andrew Pilgrim, has spent 3 years touring North America and Europe to capture all of these portraits. Pilgrim elaborates on his goal for the project: “My goal with this book is to document how unique each individual performance is both on stage and off.” He continues with “Humorists essentially serve as modern storytellers, and their humor lifts us up even in our darkest moments.”
